Democratizing AI Detection

We believe that transparency shouldn’t come with a price tag. We’re building the most accessible AI verification tools for students, writers, and educators.

Team working together on AI technology

Our Story

The idea for Winston AI Detector Free was born out of frustration. As content creators and tech enthusiasts, we watched as premium AI detection tools like Winston AI™ and Originality.ai introduced strict paywalls, credit systems, and expensive subscriptions.

While these tools are excellent for enterprise businesses, they leave students, freelance writers, and independent educators behind. Why should you have to pay $20/month just to check if your own essay sounds “robotic” to an algorithm?

We gathered a small team of developers and data scientists to build an alternative. Our goal wasn’t to replace the premium tools for big corporations, but to provide a free, unlimited, and private option for individuals who need quick, reliable answers.

Our Core Values

🔒

Privacy First

We operate on a strict “No Storage” policy. Unlike other free tools that harvest your data to train their models, your text is analyzed in real-time and immediately discarded.

🚀

Accessibility

No signups. No credit cards. No “3 free checks per day.” We believe AI detection tools should be as accessible as spell checkers.

⚖️

Transparency

AI detection is probabilistic, not magic. We educate our users about false positives and how these algorithms actually work.

How We Support This Project

You might wonder, “How is this free?”

We are currently supported by partnerships and unobtrusive advertising. This allows us to cover our server costs (running AI models is expensive!) without charging you a dime. In the future, we may introduce optional power-user features, but our core detection engine will always remain free.
